country outlaw/genius Willie Nelson just released what is thought to be the first openly gay cowboy anthem, called (awesomely) "Cowboys Are Frequently, Secretly (Fond of Each Other)" I guess he recorded this pre-"Brokeback", showing that the times change with Willie, never the other way around. Sample lyric: What did you think all them saddles and boots was about? Inside every cowboy there's a lady who'd love to slip out.

what I don't get

about this whole "Cheney-Shoots-Guy-in-the-FACE" thing is that the secret service reported that the "incident" happened at 6:30 pm. It would have been pretty much pitch dark by that point-I'm not much of a hunter but I thought shootin' birds in a big group was pretty much a daytime activity-or at least that's what all my training on the NES taught me...oh, crap I guess "The Daily Show" already did a re-enactment using "Duck Hunt" oh, well-it took a good 5 MINUTES of MS Paint to make this, so what the hell...
